AVICII PRESENTS ‘STRICTLY MIAMI 2011’ STRICTLY RHYTHM
THE WMC was certainly kind to 21 year-old Swedish prodigy Avicii. Nominated for five IDMA awards, he walked away with Best Breakthrough Artist, beating the likes of Afrojack and Wolfgang Gartner. Then when he turned up for Ultra week it was to play all three days of the festival, including on the main stage and at the afterparty. So it’s only fitting that Strictly has him onboard for
‘Strictly Miami 2011’, a double CD comp which packs in tracks from Dennis Ferrer, Bob Sinclair, John Dahlback, Michael Woods and loads more. With a relentless DJ schedule, there’s no doubt that you’ll have an opportunity to catch Avicii soon. But if not, his forthcoming remixes for both Daft Punk and Armin Van Buuren are sure to be unavoidable, sending him interstellar.
