Amaya obtiene licencia online en República Dominicana
La empresa canadiense, Amaya Gaming Group Inc., ha
anunciado que ha obtenido una licencia para operaciones de juego online en República Dominicana, la segunda nación más grande en el Caribe con unos 10 millones de habitantes. Amaya diseña, desarrolla, fabrica y distribuye soluciones de entretenimiento para el sector del juego con tecnología de punta para las jurisdicciones del juego reglamentado en todo el mundo.
Entre los productos online que produce y ofrece Amaya se encuentran juegos de mesa electrónicos como Blackjack, Ruleta, Sicbo, Dados y Baccarat, además de juegos como póker online, entre otros. El sitio online de Amaya para la región de Latinoamérica será lanzada al mercado en el tercer trimestre del 2011.
David Baazov, presidente y CEO de Amaya, dijo: “Estamos sumamente complacidos de haber logrado esta licencia para operar juegos online en República Dominicana, y tenemos la confianza de que nuestra extensa ludoteca y capacidad tecnológica han sido los factores decisivos para obtener esta licencia. Comentando sobre la emisión de la licencia online, Conrado Abud, Director de Casinos del Ministerio de finanzas de Republica Dominicana, dijo: “Después de realizar nuestras investigaciones de diligencia debida, decidimos autorizar a Amaya con la única licencia de su clase para operar juegos online en el país. Como tal, este es un sector de la industria del juego que rápidamente se está desarrollando de forma ilegal, y se le ha otorgado la licencia a Amaya para que pueda cambiar el rumbo del juego existente en forma ilegal hacia un sitio online que sea brinde seguridad, legalidad y confianza”.

The Gaming Authority will grant gambling operator

Amaya secures Dominican Republic online gaming license
Amaya Gaming Group Inc has announced that it has
secured a license to operate online gaming in the Dominican Republic, the second largest Caribbean nation with an estimated population of 10 million people. The Canadian company, an entertainment solutions provider for the gaming industry, is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and sale of technology based gaming solutions for the regulated gaming industry worldwide.
Amaya’s online gaming offering includes slot games as well as
table games like Blackjack, Roulette, Sicbo, Craps and Baccarat in addition to peer-to-peer games such as online poker. The online gaming site is expected to be launched by Q3 2011.

operate online gaming in the Dominican Republic. We believe our extensive gaming library and technological capabilities have been key deciding factors in securing this license. Commenting on the granting of the online gaming license,

Amaya was granted the license to redirect this already existing but illegal gaming activity to a site that is secure, legal and trustworthy.”
