THE MAGAZINE FOR UCD BUSINESS ALUMNI & FRIENDS WELCOME TO UCD BUSINESS CONNECTIONS

Welcome to the first issue of UCD Business Connections in 2011. In this issue, as a new Government takes over, we have taken as core themes Ireland’s renewal and positive leadership strategies. In recognition of the importance

of our alumni network, we’re also delighted to profile this year’s alumni of the year for UCD Smurfit

School and UCD Quinn School of Business, and of course we hope to see many of you at this year’s Alumni Awards Dinner on 15 April, when we will be presenting Senator Feargal Quinn and Patrick Kennedy with those awards. My key role is to develop and support the UCD School of Business alumni community in Ireland and abroad. In order to this, I would be most grateful to get your help. We still do not have email addresses for all of you, so it would be great if you could pass the message on to any old classmates with whom you’re still in touch. Or indeed, we encourage you to join our group on LinkedIn, and to spread the word. Please feel free to submit editorial suggestions or

feedback to me here at businessalumni@ucd.ie. I hope to meet many of you at our awards dinner, or at one of the many events we have planned for the coming year.
