The Myth is the embodiment of everything a canoe should be, performing well tandem or solo, in whitewater or flatwater. The true “jack-of-all-trades” is born.


A custom-built, beautifully handcrafted wooden canoe. Weighs only 53 lbs with optional lightweight Dacron covering. Solos well and is a good lakewater-tripping canoe.


$2,295 US Shouldered flare for dryness and enhanced paddle placements. This superb tripping design is fast and extremely light. Also in carbon/Kevlar ($2,595 US, 47 lbs) and fibre- glass/Kevlar ($2,095 US, 60 lbs).

Our Prospector is the perfect all-around lakewater tripping canoe. It handles large waves very well, and is fast and straight-tracking.


Langford’s finest asymmetrical canoe. Capacity, acceleration, manoeuvrability, tracking ease and seaworthiness make this a great performance tripping canoe.


Modified Prospector design with straight sides, shallow-arch bottom and moderate rocker for stability, easy paddling and good tracking. A good tandem/family canoe. Many options and colours are available.


Lean and efficient with shallow-arch hull; designed to run dry in rough water; fast flatwater canoe with downriver capability.


Traditional design based on the Chestnut Cruiser Cronje model. The quintessential tripping canoe, it is at home on flatwater and also capable of serious river tripping. In fibreglass for $1,295.
