Excels in performance and durability. Sliding bucket seat, deep-dish ash yoke. A high- volume, efficient wilderness tripping canoe. Extensive customization is available.

Our best whitewater tripping boat, durable with very tough construction, roomy enough for longer expeditions. The rocker, depth and shallow-arch bottom make it dry and manoeuvrable.

Symmetrical, shallow-arch hull. Moderate rocker. The ultimate hybrid canoe-run a river or cross a lake. Contoured web seats. Hardwood yoke. Many layup, colour and trim options.

The Slocan is the ultimate whitewater tripper. It has 3.5 inches of rocker and lots of flare. Very dry, fast-turning yet speedy. Duralite easily handles all the knocks of whitewater.

Large-capacity canoe equally adept on flats or rivers. Flared shallow-V hull for stability and dryness.

Prospector-style hull, good rocker, excellent primary/secondary stability, fast, large volume.

Considered by many to be the best wilderness tripping canoe design ever, also available in Royalex. NEW for 2006: Prospector (15’, 17’, 18’) in roto-moulded 3-layer polyethylene starting at $959.

Enough rocker to provide excellent manoeuvrability in rapids and flared ends for dryness and buoyancy. The shallow-arch bottom provides both initial and secondary stability.

A blend of E.M. White Guide shapes and Chestnut Prospector proportions.

$1,795 US Perhaps the ultimate expedition craft. Carries gear for a month or more north of the tree line. Proven on the most remote and demanding rivers. Travels easily in a compact bag.

Excellent responsiveness and good carrying capacity. A great choice for both whitewater and flatwater trips.

The Dumoine will amaze you with how it can thread its way down rapids you never thought you could run. At home anywhere, it’s great for whitewater paddlers who can only afford one boat.

Heavy-duty Royalex, tough gunwales, extended 16” decks and deep-dish yoke make this the Black Feather guides’ choice for expeditions. Optional spray cover, skid plates, outfitting.

Available in fibreglass and Kevlar-glass-epoxy construction with different yokes and removable thwart/yoke bracket options.

$1,499 US The classic charm of a traditional design based on the Chestnut Prospector. It’s stable, with plenty of capacity for extended trips. Also available in Royalex and Kevlar.

$2,300 The Prospector is a great canoe for tripping and its rocker allows for whitewater use.
