Simon Vincent is responsible for more than 200 hotels across seven brands with 25,000 employees in 30 European countries. A 20-year veteran of the leisure and travel industry, Simon was previously CEO of Opodo, the pan-European online travel agency. He spent 13 years at the Thomas Cook Group, latterly as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Tour Operating and Retail Distribution.


Christine Petersen leads TripAdvisor for Business, a division focused on redefining the way the travel industry markets to travellers. She has overseen tremendous growth of site traffic, revenue, content and membership. Her team has exponentially increased user engagement and user-generated content with the launch of maps, video and a new CRM program.

RICHARD JACKSON DIRECTOR CONSUMER PROTECTION GROUP, CAA


Richard was appointed to the Board as Group Director, Consumer Protection of CAA in October 2004. He is a member of the Economic Regulation and Consumer Protection Policy Committee and a Trustee of the Air Travel Trust. Formerly, he was head of investment banking at Daiwa SBCM Europe.


Simon is the Passenger Services Director of P&O Ferries responsible for onboard services, marketing and revenue management.


Simon has led award winning advertising campaigns for the company and is currently working closely with travel industry figures to support the Government and VisitBritain in their quest to create 50,000 jobs in tourism and boost the economy.


Christopher Rodrigues became Chairman of VisitBritain in January 2007 and Chairman of International Personal Finance in July of the same year, having joined the Board of Provident Financial in January 2007 as Joint Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the International Division (later to become IPF) prior to demerger from Provident Financial plc on 16th July 2007.
