ABP offers a range of high quality business- related qualifications that complement the ABE portfolio. With ever increasing numbers of ABP-accredited centres and more university progression routes available to ABP qualification holders than ever before, the opportunity to benefit from ABP, as well as ABE, qualifications has never been greater.
New soft skills short courses with online testing
In partnership with British Business Professional Skills Development Ltd (BBPSD), ABP is pleased to announce the launch of a suite of soft skills short courses entitled International Business Skills (IBS). These programmes boast the following features:
● High quality content ● Outstanding learning materials ● Robust assessment arrangements using Pearson VUE online testing centres
The programmes are designed to meet the needs of employers with learning outcomes based on the latest national occupational standards (NOS), listed in the UK occupational standards directory.
There are eight programmes in total. Each award comprises 50 hours of learning. Learners who successfully complete all eight awards are eligible for the ABP Intermediate Diploma in International Business Skills.

ABP opens Middle East and North Africa regional office
ABP is proud to announce the opening of a regional office in Abu Dhabi, covering the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Jason Raife, CEO of ABP commented: ‘Due to the unprecedented demand for high quality ABP qualifications in the Gulf region, a decision was taken to open a regional office to enable us to meet local requirements.
‘In line with our mission statement, we intend to provide high-quality, affordable qualifications which meet the needs of local and regional employers, training providers and teaching institutions, and which also provide individuals with opportunities for personal and professional advancement.’
