ABE news New staff profiles


Angela Hilton Angela Hilton


I joined ABE in June 2010 and work in the Education Department as Education Co-ordinator. My background administrative experience is wide and varied, including the NHS, professional sport, leisure, a brief dal- liance in showbiz and the recording industry and finally, before ABE, business training. My responsibilities include working with the team in the Education Department, provid- ing administrative support wherever required including helping Joe Phelan with the EAR (enquiries about exam results) process.

also attend the major departmental and company meetings to take the minutes.


Monica Franzini


I joined ABE in November 2010 and work as a Business Development and Marketing Executive. I am Italian and came to London in 2008 to do my Masters in International

Marketing and then decided to stay after it ended.


I support both the Head of Business Development and the Marketing Manager and my responsibilities include liaising and networking with ABE representatives, potential colleges and students, contributing to the development of marketing plans and strategies, evaluating marketing campaigns, and organising and attending events.


Christy Sunman


I joined ABE in September 2010, taking on the role of Assessment Co-ordinator in the Qualifications Department. Our team is responsible for ensuring that ABE’s examination materials are prepared and printed in good time and that the question papers and marking schemes are written clearly and unambiguously.


Christy Sunman


I have a background in administration and training, gained in the academic, charitable and health sectors. My previous roles have included working as a postgraduate programme manager in optometry; as a BA course tutor at a theological college and as a hospital-based speech and language therapist.
