Launch Pad Kinetica to launch supplement range into UK


Sports supplement brand Kinetica is to debut its range of nutritional supplements in the UK from the start of 2011, including nine existing products, three new lines and additional flavour variants.


Irish sports supplement brand Kinetica is launching its range of 100 per cent natural protein-based products into the UK in January 2011.


County Cork-based Kinetica was launched in Ireland in October 2009 and is part of Irish dairy manufacturer Carbery Group, which produces the Dubliner cheese brand.


Kinetica offers a range of nine protein-based supplements designed to provide amateur athletes with high- performance, stamina and muscle repair.


The supplements have been developed by sport nutrition experts including Matt Lovell, nutritional advisor to the England rugby team and the UK athletics squad for the 2012 London Olympics.


Kinetica’s range includes whey protein, lean muscle gain and post-work out recovery products, from shakes and nutritional bars to capsules. They are manufactured from 100 per cent natural ingredients, sourced and produced in Ireland, which Kinetica said means ‘they are traceable from cow to can’. Kinetica added that it has a flavour lab dedicated to creating and developing new flavours for its products, such as chocolate,blackcurrant or orange and mango, in order to ‘dispel the myth that protein supplements should taste bitter’.


An additional three products will be launched in January, alongside additional flavour variants of its whey protein products.


Kinetica spokesperson John Keys said: “Many people think sports supplements are for body builders and not for them, but in fact, all sports enthusiasts can benefit from Kinetica’s new range. Already it’s been a huge success in Ireland and we’re excited to now expand to the UK.” Kinetica products will be available directly online as well as distributed through CLF Distribution to sports stores, health stores and other channels.
