MNU Heritage Choir & Fall Play


Left: MNU’s Heritage Choir, shown here at the Fall Festivale in September, is planning to travel to New York City in March to perform at Carnegie Hall under the direction of MNU visiting professor Dr. John Leavitt. Leavitt is a regular guest conductor in the Masterworks series held at Carnegie Hall.


Right: MNU’s fall play was The Star-Spangled Girl, by Neil Simon. Set in 1967 San Francisco, the play pits two anti-establishment, underground reporters with a down home, flag-waving Southern girl. Comedy abounds as freshman psychology major Shawna Siegfreid and senior communications/business major Michael Hephner maneuver through a hilarious love triangle. Not pictured is the play’s third cast member, junior theatre major Carl Bowlby.
