NOVEMBER 2010 SGB OUTDOOR 3

his is my last issue as editor of SGB Outdoor and in many ways, I will miss it. The outdoor industry is a terrific one to work in, as you’re constantly surrounded by passion, by technology that never rests, by genuine innovation. And of course, by really nice people. I’ll be staying on as Mr Gear Reviews, testing out bits and bobs for your delectation with honest and impartial reviews. I might even take the dog along to do some reviewing, so Ruff Wear had better be on the phone and fast…

The new editor is a gentleman by the name of David Pittman, and I hope you will be as welcoming to him as you have to me.

Weep not, dear readers, as this is definitely a so long, not a goodbye… Jon
