Face of the Class of 2010

Out of a total of 6,034 graduates 49.4% were male and 50.6% were female. 30% of graduates self-reported as being members of minority groups. 30% of the graduates were members of the U.S. military. 674 of this year’s graduates were from New York State. The average age of the Class of 2010 was 38. The oldest graduate was a 91-year-old woman from New Jersey, who earned an Associate in Science in Liberal Arts degree. All 50 states were represented plus the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and 20 other nations. The youngest graduate was a 17-year-old woman from Brooklyn, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts.
