IN MEMORIAM

U.S. Army Col. Kurush Bharucha-Reid died on May 26, 2010, of cancer. Col. Michael J. Bochna, who then assumed command of the U.S. Army Field Support Center on July 21, said he was “following in the footsteps of a truly great soldier and commander.”

Maj. Gen. Mary A. Legere, commanding general of the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, said Bharucha-Reid would be remembered for his “extraordinary leadership, his vision, his selflessness, and his unwavering dedication.”

Bharucha-Reid served in the Army for 37 years. He was a two-time graduate of the College, completing an Associate in Science degree in 1982 and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies in 1988.
