• The control head baseplate is the support structure for a dentist’s work chair. Various lines for air, water and pneumatic controls are mounted to the aluminum base and concealed with a cosmetic cover.
• The casting supplier used simulation soft- ware to develop a gating system to fi ll the 8.5-in. wide part with cut-out features that spanned 6 in.
• The supplier provided the customer trimmed parts with 15 tapped holes.
