Feature 2 | AUXILIARY VESSELS Norway pursues multi-role AOR concept

Norway’s Defence Logistics Organisation (NDLO) is advancing plans to procure a new multifunctional auxiliary oiler replenishment ship (AOR) to enter service with the Royal Norwegian Navy by the end of 2015.

The multi-role AOR vessel is designed to provide logistics support to maritime forces and increase the endurance of the Norwegian Task Group.

capability in 2002, with Project 2513 established within the NDLO in 2006. Subsequent definition phase activities
