When the North London Careers Academy Board needed a business and management case study to present to its top students and tutors, chairman Steve Wright (a past chairman of the British Cleaning Council) asked LCC Support Services if it could deliver. LCC’s executive chairman, Bob Vincent and operational administration director Christine Wilson gave the presentation, with Vincent giving some of his personal business tips and advice on providing good customer service; and Wilson demonstrating LCC’s bespoke IBMS customer management software system. “I was flattered that from 24,000
students, ten of the brightest in the Business Academy were chosen to visit us to learn how to build and run a business,” said Vincent. “It was like being Sir Alan Sugar for the day. We enjoyed it immensely, especially some of the detailed questions.” The students, who were from Haringey, Enfield, North and East London, were from a two-year programme prior to entering university.
