Course Title: Duration:
Evaluation & Test Driver (DAY 2) 1 day
No. of Delegates: 1 to 1 Instructor
Aimed squarely at the engineer or technician needing to drive at speed and evaluate and test a variety of evaluation criteria. The course focuses on the skills needed to drive a vehicle approaching grip limit and for the driver to nurture a systematic technique. Driving a vehicle at speed for evaluation purposes, requires a systematic and disciplined approach. The driver has to be comfortable at speed and consistently accurate with their control inputs. We introduce the delegate to evaluation techniques and exercises to advance their recognition and interpretation of the dynamic characteristics of a vehicle at speed and in a variety of lower speed scenarios. The session ends with a blind subjective damper evaluation. The key objective of the training is for the delegate by the end of the session to be able to drive a vehicle approaching grip limit and evaluate 5 dynamic evaluation criteria.
