Commencement 2010


he largest graduating class in MNU history, 673 graduates, enjoyed commencement ceremonies in May 2010. Commencement for Graduate and Adult Studies was May 1 for 383 graduates from two undergraduate, seven graduate and one post-graduate certificate programs.

Commencement for 290 traditional undergraduate students earning the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music Education or Bachelor of Science in Nursing, was May 2.


1. Carrie Conant, music major from Dodge City, Kan., and MacKinzie Clark, organizational administra- tion major from Overland Park, Kan., happily mug for the camera after receiving bachelor of arts degrees.


2. Smothered in hugs is a great way to celebrate commencement for Shawn Hartley and his children, Jackson, Amaris, and Lili.

Feelings of satisfaction and accomplishment were never more evident than at MNU May 1 and 2.

3. President Robinson congratulates seniors Erik Unruh and Roberta Coons-Redig as they are presented the American Heritage Award, the highest non-academic award granted to a graduating senior man and woman.
