Initial seminar: 3 & 4 December 2010 at NUT HQ, near Kings Cross, London – includes seeing a Shakespeare performance at The Roundhouse on Friday evening. Follow-up: 11 March 2011, in Stratford-upon-Avon (optional chance to see evening RSC performance in The Courtyard for £10).

Aims:


Participants will learn active approaches to teaching Shakespeare from RSC practitioners, try these out in their own schools, and meet to share good practice. Texts used will include Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth.
