DJmag celebrates touchdown in space


having spent 15 years handing out djmag ibiza, our on-island ibiza magazine covering all the moves and grooves rocking the white isle, it was only fitting that our birthday party on 1st july should reflect the hottest djs from across house, techno and disco; and of course throw in a bit of talent from within our own ranks! we take a look at some of the top talent playing in la terrrazza.


The sound of boompty derrick carter and the roots of house


Once voted the 66th most famous person from Chicago, Derrick Carter’s brand of bumping, disco-influenced house first surfaced in 1987 before the 90s saw him grow into one of house’s most respected DJs, launching Classic records with Luke Solomon and maintaining a residency at the dearly-departed The End where his sets were characterised by bootlegs of everyone from Talking Heads to Tweet. Now riding high on the house
