FREEDOM’s new
member, buying shows approach
FREEDOM, the Outdoor Buying Group, now has 90 members in the UK and recently took on a new member – TREK-KITS in Cambridgeshire. MD Ward Robertson commented: “We are very pleased to accept such an excellent Outdoor retailer to join FREEDOM.”
Preparation is underway for
the STAG buying shows open to both STAG and FREEDOM members, and now in two locations. The first New Ireland STAG buying show is booked for October 31st and November 1st in Tullamore, ROI, and as per the UK buying show will be free of charge for all STAG/ FREEDOM members. The UK show will again be in the Cotswolds on November 21st and 22nd. With over 60 members and 40 suppliers already signed up it is set to yet again be an unmissable buying show for UK and Irish independents.
Merrell and Garmin
join forces – to inspire!
Merrell has announced a ground-breaking alliance with leading sat nav manufacturer Garmin. The alliance will draw on both Merrell and Garmin’s heritage and technical credentials to offer a fresh approach to using GPS technology among natural and urban pursuits, from Geocaching and countryside rambling to mountain biking and skiing. With a multi-channel activation strategy incorporating in-store advertising, promotions, PR and events, the alliance will play a focal part in both brands’ future marketing activities across these sectors.

Keeble’s new
warehouse and team addition
To cater for the steadily growing demand for Care Plus products, the company’s UK distributors Keeble Agencies is relocating to larger premises. The new warehouse will hold higher stock levels and ensure Keeble Agencies continues to offer an efficient service to its customers. The new address is 55 St John’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1SN.
