RFIDPOKER

GPI’s RFIDPoker

R

Gaming Partners International (GPI), a pioneer in the utilization of RFID technology in casino chips and table game applications, has added a new product to their repertoire of innovative products –

RFIDPoker.

FIDPoker was developed to improve accuracy and increase the speed of various actions on the poker table. Easily fitted on any poker table, GPI’s RFIDPoker consists of a slim antenna concealed

under the table layout that provides error-free, automatic and constant reading of the poker pot, calculates charges and rakes, and provides essential data and statistics such as game analysis, table performances, round-ups lists, and daily totals. The operating software or CIDs™ developed by GPI performs automatic reading of the RFID chips and calculation of the charges. All transactions are recorded in an SQL database with weekly or monthly backups. Detailed and customized reports can be edited at the end of each day while manual access allows authorized personnel to make corrections on a transaction if required. One major operational site for GPI’s RFIDPoker is

Cercle Clichy Montmartre, a major gambling club located in downtown Paris. Since early 2008, Cercle Clichy Montmartre has installed a total of 6 RFIDPoker tables, to the delight of both players and staff. “Our players like very much the automatic calculation of the pot - they trust the RFID technology,” said Mr. Luc Richard, General Manager of Cercle Clichy Montmartre. “On our side we have a higher quantity of hands per hour with a more effective monitoring of the tables thanks to the many reporting tools the system provides”. RFIDPoker also helps to speed up the game and

has proven to increase hands per hour by as much as 30%, improving revenues for casinos, and reducing wait times for players both at the game and waiting for a table. The five RFIDPoker tables installed by the

Joa Group, including the three tables at Casino Uriage, France as well as the 2 tables installed at Casino La Siesta in Antibes, France, are proving hugely successful. “The tables work perfectly and we

have recorded on average at least 15% more hands per hour,” stated Mr. Laurent Jourdain, VP Tables Games of the Joa Group, which operates 20 casinos nationwide. “We expect a

ROI of about 6 to 8 months, depending on the volume of play at each table.” GPI has staged live demonstrations of the

RFIDPoker table at tradeshows around the world this year, including IGE in London and G2E Asia in Macau. With new additions to the system, such as a progressive version and an astonishing 22” LCD display that provides players key information such as real-time pot value, last-5/average/maximum pots as well as the players’ winnings, the response has been tremendous. “These demonstrations proved the total accuracy of

the system as well as obvious advantages that our RFID technology provides in terms of robustness, speed of the game, and dealer efficiency,” commented Christophe Leparoux, International Sales and Marketing Manager for GPI. These are all benefits of our RFIDPoker that we are eager to share with casinos throughout the world.” Page 1  |  Page 2  |  Page 3  |  Page 4  |  Page 5  |  Page 6  |  Page 7  |  Page 8  |  Page 9  |  Page 10  |  Page 11  |  Page 12  |  Page 13  |  Page 14  |  Page 15  |  Page 16  |  Page 17  |  Page 18  |  Page 19  |  Page 20  |  Page 21  |  Page 22  |  Page 23  |  Page 24  |  Page 25  |  Page 26  |  Page 27  |  Page 28  |  Page 29  |  Page 30  |  Page 31  |  Page 32  |  Page 33  |  Page 34  |  Page 35  |  Page 36  |  Page 37  |  Page 38  |  Page 39  |  Page 40  |  Page 41  |  Page 42  |  Page 43  |  Page 44  |  Page 45  |  Page 46
