EARLY SUMMER 2010

1) Dirty dishes. Wash dishes right away to keep food odours down.

2)Open cooler. Store cooler in a vehicle in order to keep animals from getting your food.

3) Cleaning fish in the campsite. Keep

odours down by cleaning fish far away from your campsite.

4) Food hanging over the tent. Hang food

from a tree that is 200 metres away from the tent and on a tree limb that is three metres off the ground.

5) Dirty marshmallow roasting sticks

beside tent. Wash and keep well away from the tent.

6) Cooking beside the tent. Cook at least 30 metres downwind from tents.

7) Garbage around campsite. Put garbage in a bag, store with food and pack it out.

8) Food in tent. Put food in a vehicle or hang it from a tree.

9) Toothpaste in tent. Keep scented and flavoured toiletries in a vehicle or hang them with food.

10) Food stains on clothes. Change food-

stained clothes.
