THE REALITY:Referendum Promise Scrapped

Despite repeated promises to repatriate various powers to the UK, after the Lisbon Treaty is agreed and made law Cameron backs off the issue of Europe. On 1 December 2009, he issued a statement, committing himself and his party to working with Europe.
