De Hoop delivers support vessel to Noordhoek

De Hoop Shipyard successfully completed a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and survey support vessel, Noordhoek Pathfinder, in March 2010 for fellow Dutch owner Noordhoek Offshore. Te vessel commenced her first contract in April.

Te vessel was built at De Hoop Foxhol shipyard in the North of the Netherlands. Te vessel can accommodate 40 persons

segregated over single and double cabins. Te vessels main functions are inspection, repair and maintenance, hydrography, geotechnical investigation, pipeline inspection and analogue/digital geophysical survey. Noordhoek announced that the newly

delivered vessel has now successfully completed both verification trials and her first assignment. Te vessel was delivered on schedule and has thus far performed without any problems during this first survey, meeting all of Noordhoek’s stringent quality assurance and quality control criteria.
