The large picture is my brooch Pirate Airship “Revenge”. Like many of my pieces, “Revenge” has a story behind it, that ties it to other pieces. An earlier brooch was the Submarine “Avenger” which the Central Coast Marine Militia (CCMM) used to drive the pirates from the waters of the Central Coast Region. “Revenge” was the pirates response as they seized the skys of the region. The EM3000 Long Gun is a hand held weapon that was used by one of the pirates in an air battle with the CCMM.

“Revenge” was purchased by Bruce Rosenbaum. Bruce is the creator and owner of the famous SteamPunk House in Sharon, MA. (Page 26) When Bruce is not wearing “Revenge” it is displayed inside a brass porthole in his home office.

Note that the backs of my pieces are important. As someone trained in traditional jewelry techniques I pay attention to the complete piece (I started by helping my Dad make his fine gold jewelry in the 1960’s). All pieces are signed and copyrighted (usually on the back). Many of them have movable parts.
