Welcome to the first issue of Artizen magazine.

Our new zine is our bi-monthly showcase for an eclectic array of artisans creating everything from fine arts to food; furniture to flowers. We’re serving up interviews with the creative personalities behind amazing products. We’ve poured through the web and chosen a few artists to call upon as well as included excerpts from guest writers that have some excellent artisan blogs themselves. All websites and emails are live and if you care to do some

shopping, many items link directly to their shopping carts. (Look for temporary highlights and/or bold text when you turn the pages - those show you clickable links.)

We hope you’ll subscribe (Click HERE if you haven’t yet) and

receive Artizen in your inbox. The magazine is free and comes without spam. (Not to our taste.) We understand that annoying readers is never smart. And we don’t share our lists, though if our parent company, CatStone Press, produces another digital magazine we think you may enjoy, we will likely send you a short email about it, just so you can opt to subscribe if it looks enticing.

We welcome smart writing if you have an artisan or event you’d like to expound upon. Obviously no promises we’ll bite on the topic but feel free to let us know. There is a LOT to explore. It’s a luscious world out there. On to the feast...
