uring IGE, I was lucky enough to sit down for a chat with Paul Steelman, the world-renowned casino
architect. I learned a lot during the conversation about the process behind designing a casino, how Paul approaches a job, and what he likes to see in any casino in terms of the bare essentials. It was a fascinating conversation, and you can enjoy the fruits of it on page 34. Elsewhere, we have a great report on what it will take
for Singapore’s new casino resorts to really work from Macau Business, and a really interesting piece about the new installation of Shuffle Master’s i-Table, where we spoke with the Barona’s VP of table games operations, Mike Patterson. If his view of the table is anything to go by, this is going to be very, very successful for Shuffle Master – and for the Barona Resort and Casino! Enough of my waffle. Go read the magazine!
