dalguise
This centre is in a stunning location overlooking the River Tay, on the edge of the Craigvinean
Forest at the heart of Scotland’s ‘Big Tree Country’.
The main house with its castellated tower was once the summer home of Beatrix Potter. The
setting and gardens inspired many of her well-loved stories and many children will recognise
our Manager’s cottage as the home of Mrs Tiggywinkle.
perthshire
The activities at Dalguise make
the most of the natural setting and
take place in and around the forest
surrounding the centre. Kayaking
is on Loch Tay, Perthshire’s largest
loch, just a short drive away.
Dalguise has a fantastic new
‘sports dome’, built in 2009, which
provides additional covered space
allowing us to offer even more
activities – whatever the Scottish
weather provides!
For 2010, a huge new double
zip wire will be available.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is in lodges, two of
which are brand new for 2010, in the
grounds of the main house or in our
recently renovated Craigvinean Lodge
development. Rooms are basic but
every family has their own en-suite
bathroom. Children and parents share
bunk bedded rooms (maximum
6 people per room).
