The £2.4 million design and build scheme

directly by the school. As part of its project
team, Provian appointed architects Giarti
and engineers Kirksaunders to help
develop the scheme’s design.
The two storey, 1,200 sqm building has
been designed to match the existing
masonry buildings on the site. Brick built,
it will feature a pitched roof and round
top windows, as part of a sympathetic
traditional build.
The project will create new teaching
and study areas at Darrick Wood School.
Provian, which is part of the Brett Group,
will also be undertaking slight alternations
to the school’s sports hall and minor
infrastructure works, extensive drainage
works and the creation of a new play area.
