by Building Control officers following the revision of Part E of the Building Regulations.
Under Building Bulletin BB93 , sound absorption is
required to reduced the reverberation time to within
specified levels in:
• Classrooms
• Music practice rooms
• Lecture theatres
• Science and technology laboratories
• Assembly and sports halls
• Dining areas
