RESEARCH ASSISTANT or
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Th e Department of Biostatistics at the University
at Buff alo is seeking a Director for its Statistical
Consulting Lab at the Research Assistant or Re-
search Associate Professor level. Th e candidate
is expected to have experience in clinical trials
design and analysis, and a working knowledge
of statistical methods utilized in epidemiological
studies. Experience with microarray data a plus.
Possibilities for teaching also exist. Applicants
must have good verbal and written communica-
tion skills in order to be considered. Potential ex-
ists for a wide variety of areas of collaboration,
including chronic disease, epidemiology, envi-
ronmental health, pharmaceutics, bioinformat-
ics, women’s health, cancer clinical trials, oral
health, genetics, and many other areas of Public
Health and Medicine. Th e salary range is $65,000
to $110,000 depending upon experience.
