IborrowedaCanonF135mmforthe
job,butstandingaroundafilmsetall
daylongjusttogetaminute’sworthof
stillshotswasjusttooboringforwords
andIcamebackabitdisillusioned.
Ithendecided,completelyatrandom,
to commit to a psychology degree
course.
After that I ended up in an office in
central London, working in HR, and I
startedshootingagain–justasahobby.
Then I discovered the Holga and
Lomography.IpackedmyselfofftoThe
Photographer’sGalleryandboughtone
for£40.ThenIwastotallyhookedon
it....thischeap,crazyplasticcamera.
I went round London shooting and
experimenting. The camera was so
basicitwaslaughable.Itonlyhadtwo
settings,andtherewasnofilmcounter
