The minimum age for courses is 18* and although there is no upper age
limit, students must be of good general health and capable of undertaking
the strenuous aspects of the courses.
*Introduction to Drama School and Audition technique Summer Courses
has a minimum age of 16.
Deadline for applications to the Three Year, Two Year, One Year Acting
and One Year Foundation Courses is 1 March.
Deadline for applications to the Foundation Course, the Two Year
Stage-Management and Technical Theatre Course, and the summer
Short Courses is 1 April.
No deadline for Single Semester Courses – however applicants are
advised to apply as soon as possible, as places are limited.

Auditions / interviews for courses are held in London from November
to June. See website or contact Admissions for dates for audition venues
outside London and overseas.
Notification of audition / interview is usually sent giving two weeks’
notice. However, it may be sent at short notice on receipt of an
application, therefore applicants should be prepared to audition /
interview at the time the application is made.
There is no need to send transcripts, headshots or any other photos
with your application.
Payment of the non-returnable audition / interview fee can be made in
pounds sterling only. Cheques are payable to LAMDA Ltd and are only
acceptable from sterling bank accounts.
Auditions / interviews by video are not accepted.
Applicants may be recalled for another longer audition in March, April,
May or June.
LAMDA is an eligible institution for the Guaranteed Loan Program operated
by the US Department of Health, Education and Welfare (Vendor Code #021086).
