Berghaus announces
promotions
Michael Lockett
Berghaus has made three key
promotions as it embarks on the next
stage of its global growth strategy.
Michael Lockett has been appointed
to the position of vice president Asia
Pacific, Sarah Wilson has been
confirmed as marketing director and

Tina Payne will assume the role of human resources
director. All three roles are new and take immediate effect.
Previously operations director, Michael Lockett will take
up the role of vice president Asia
Pacific, based in Hong Kong.
Sarah Wilson has been promoted to the position of
marketing director and in this role will drive forward the
development and presentation of the brand on a global
scale.
Tina Payne has been promoted to the position of HR
Director, a role she will take up when she returns from
maternity leave. Tina will focus on defining the company
structure and culture to ensure that Berghaus delivers
world class performance at every level.

New Victorinox DofE tool
Leading manufacturer Victorinox has worked with the Duke of
Edinburgh Awards to create a tool that young people can
depend on in emergencies.
The Pocket Tool can be useful for first aid, food
preparation, cutting rope and making minor repairs, when
used effectively. All the equipment required for a DofE
expedition is intended to ensure the safety and
comfort of the participants.
The Pocket Tool has a specially rounded blunt ended blade
and a bespoke selection of tools; scissors, can opener with cap lifter, wire
cutter, wire stripper and screwdriver end, Phillips screwdriver, multipurpose hook,
key ring, tweezers and toothpick.
The Pocket Tool will be subject to the same strict rules of purchase as penknives
and only be able to be purchased by people over 18.
Outwell supports National
Family Week

partnership with National Family Week, a new national initiative to celebrate
family life in the UK.
Taking place from 25th to 31st May 2009, the week will include hundreds of
