First Aid at Sea Course
March 9 & 18
Washington Sea Grant and the Port
of Seattle Fishermen’s Terminal are co-
sponsoring the course, scheduled for
Monday, March 9 & Wednesday, March
18. The courses will run from 8:00 am
to 5:00 pm in the Nordby Conference
Room, Nordby Building, at Fishermen’s
Terminal in Seattle.
Topics include cardio-pulmonary
resuscitation, patient assessment,
shock, trauma, burns, fractures,
hypothermia, cold-water near-
drowning, immobilization, backboards,
first-aid kits, and more. The fee for the
workshop is $80. Space is limited, so
pre-registration is advised.
