Deburring System Tri-Ten deburring system now features an innovative turntable designed to handle a wide range of part shapes and sizes and a robotic handling system. It features a planetary head containing three Abtex manufactured abrasive nylon fi lament brushes that rotate independently. Each brush can be pro- grammed for either clockwise or counterclockwise rotation for thorough and comprehensive deburring of each part. The unit also has a nonmagnetic revolving table that can accom- modate removable and adjustable part “nests” to hold parts of various sizes and shapes during the deburring process. Parts are fed from a conveyor belt to the table via a FANUC 200iD six-axis robotic system. The system is designed to deburr a minimum of 480 parts per hour, with extra capac- ity to handle future growth, and can run in either manual or automatic modes. Abtex Corp.
