EWARK is the largest city in New Jersey; it is the state’s urban center and is densely populated, spanning 24 square miles with a 2013 estimated population of 278,427 residents. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, this represents an estimated 11,494 persons per square mile, com- pared to 1,134 statewide. The city is home to four
