Everbuild – a Sika Company - gave live demonstrations of the company’s new products, which have seen the UK & Ireland-based fi rm become a nationwide-leading sealant, adhesive and building chemical brand. Damon Harrison, Unicrimp said that Toolfair is a great chance for his company to give out tape samples to exhibitors and visitors from a whole host of sectors, instead of just dealing with electrical wholesalers.
He said: “We’ve not been showcasing new products because Unicrimp has only been in the market for several years, so tradeshows allow us to get our name out there, and let visitors and exhibitors test our quality range against competitor products.”
Belinda Walton, Sales Director of Tools of the Trade Limited, which partner with some of the leading tool manufacturers across Europe and the USA, spoke about how Toolfair is a brilliant opportunity to get feedback from end users.
She added: “We’ve been pushing our new voltage testers that can connect to our plier range, in order to check whether a wire is live before cutting a cable – it’s a great health and safety feature.
“We have a wide range of handheld products from Europe and the US, which allows us to introduce new versions of familiar products in the UK.
“Introducing these new alterations to popular products can change the thought processes of end users and give them solutions to problems.”
