Our UK team of Technical Sales Representatives is growing and we’re looking for the right person to represent STAHLWILLE in southern England and south Wales.


Solatainer® has been developed to provide autonomous off-grid energy, integrating renewable-power and storage with diesel- power back-up to reduce fuel consumption, carbon emissions and carbon footprint.


REPORTING TO THE TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER, THE ROLE ENTAILS (AMONGST OTHER DUTIES):


● Developing sales of STAHLWILLE branded products through existing and new distribution partners


The successful applicant will have a good grasp of English, Maths and Science. An engineering background would be an advantage but not completely necessary.


Modelled on a 20ft ISO shipping container, Solatainer® supports a PV array, battery storage and a high efficiency diesel generator for energy security. During daytime operation, the energy created by the Solatainer® solar panels is harvested and stored in an on-board battery pack.


● Supporting distribution partners with product demonstrations, product training, and providing technical support


● Working closely with industrial end-users to identify appropriate tooling and equipment solutions


Experience in a similar role within the hand tool or related


industries would be desirable, as would a good mix of technical and commercial knowledge.

The high efficiency generator is configured to run only when the batteries are depleted below a software-set limit or when a demand spike occurs.


Available in single or three phase configura- tion a basic Solatainer® can be used as a direct replacement for a diesel generator in situations upto 25 kW. Beyond 25 kW Solatainer® is scalable upto 100 kW using Think Hire’s Solawedge® to increase the size of the PV array and by increasing on-board battery capacity through additional cells.
