During the last four decades, standards expert David Richards has had active involvement in environmental test standardisation and worked on every issue of the UK Defence Standard 00-035 related to environmental testing. He has also worked on environmental standards for NATO, chaired the European Expert Group recommending environmental requirements for the European Defence Agency and worked on European (CEN) standards.

This specifies the requirements for external and internal cathodic protection for offshore wind farm structures in contact with seawater or seabed environments. PD ISO/TS 22704 Mechanical vibration. Uncertainty of the measurement and evaluation of human exposure to vibration. This document specifies methods for determining the ‘uncertainty’ described above.
