SPATEX 2018
What is it? Now entering its 22nd year, SPATEX is the UK’s dedicated water leisure exhibition.
Who does the show target? Anyone looking for products and associated systems for swimming pools, water features, hot tubs, spas, saunas or swim spas. The event is backed by the Swimming Teachers Association (STA), the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers (ISPE) and the Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG).
What’s on this year? For 2018, SPATEX and ISPE (Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers) are taking the double seminar programme to the next level. With 16 new titles and an update of one or two of the most popular topics, the ISPE Workshop programme for 2018 covers all areas of the pool and spa trade, both commercial and domestic. Whether your interest is in water treatment or testing, commercial pool operation, fitting covers, servicing heat pumps, tiling, construction, servicing or
maintenance, SPATEX Workshops offer tips, advice and ideas that will improve your knowledge. There will also be sessions on new Standards and Guidance that affect all in the pool and spa trade, plus a special Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG) day on Thursday 1 February. The evening of Tuesday 30 January is the
British Pool & Hot Tub Awards gala dinner hosted by BISHTA and SPATA. The themed SPATEX Networking Party will
take place after the show closes on Wednesday 31 January.
Who will be exhibiting? The event will feature more than 100 exhibitors from across the world showcasing spas, pools, saunas, enclosures and more. Familiar faces include Wellis, Aqua Warehouse Group, SCP, Ocea, Pollet, Ardex, Lighthouse, Lonza, Aqua Via, STA and Villeroy & Boch. Companies attending the show for the first time include Spa Euro, Sprayed Concrete Solutions, Humidity Solutions, Hexagone and Be Well Spas.
