A Marbella

Real Estate Agent in America

F

ind out what Space Marbella were doing in Boston recently and how this benefits you when you are

looking for a home on the Costa del Sol. November saw the celebration of one of the world’s largest Real Estate Conferences in Boston (NAR), and Jeremy Webster of Space Marbella was one of the few representatives from Spain in attendance, amongst a total of over 20,000 real estate professionals. We caught up with Jeremy to find out why he considers it important for a Marbella Real Estate agent to visit a conference in Boston. “Te conference was a great chance for me to benchmark our practices against some of the world’s most effective real estate companies. It gave me the chance to look at some of the key parts of the business and consider how we can improve our client experience going forward”. Jeremy expanded to explain that there are some very key elements of his business that he is looking to reinforce as a direct result of his experience in America:

1: IDEAS & INNOVATION At Space we are always looking to improve our business practices and we have implemented many innovations in the local property market over the last 30 years. We are also conscious that we don’t always need to re-invent the

wheel. So, meeting with like- minded professionals was a great chance to look how the busiest real estate market in the world is coping with change on an international and local level. Tis has helped us create our A-Z tours which are not just about property, but give the client a full appreciation of the information that they need, locations and opportunities. Tis is why we are the only company that cover the Costa del Sol that has its own internal rentals and property management division. Tis enables us to deliver an unbeatable service to our investor clients and keep our promises.

2: CLIENT SERVICE America prides itself on its client service, which is something that we constantly need to work on in our business. I came away from the conference with many reminders and new ways that we can make sure that our clients enjoy a great customer experience from start to finish…and even aſter. Normally when you buy your property is the last time that you see your estate agent. But with Space that’s when we really show you that we care, providing a great ongoing service, making sure that our clients are not making the move alone. As a direct result of this we are developing our very own “Owners Club” to improve our communication with

clients that have already bought with us but want help, support and a continued client service to make sure that they get the most out of their place in the sun. We are also revolutionizing our listing process to ensure much needed communication to vendors along with a personalized ‘marketing plan’ for each owner, that enables them to keep up to date with the process and understand the marketing programme that we have in place.

3: TRAINING Oſten training is overlooked in the real estate business in Spain (or confused with sales training). Tere are no formal qualifications or minimum requirements to work in real estate in the Costa del Sol, so it is up to our own internal standards to make sure that we are properly prepared and equipped to help our clients in the best way. We pride ourselves on our product knowledge and regular internal training at Space Marbella - and this is what makes us
