ARIES (March 21st to April 19th) Someone is trying to get at you. Remember, attack is the best defence so ‘sock it to ‘em’. Whilst you have the advantage get in there with a second attack, chances are the adversary will be so surprised they will lose interest trying to get one over on you. If they don’t give up, have another blow ready and they will be so demoralised they will probably give in. One thing is certain, now is not the right time to be blowing your own trumpet - you will get ‘discovered’.
Horoscope By Quinn
TAURUS (April 20th to May 20th) You want something a bit more from life than you are getting at the moment. Well you won’t get it sitting about bemoaning your fate. Get out and take what is on offer. No matter how civilised we have become, we are still the hunters and now is the time for a spot of hunting. If you are to succeed at all you are going to have to become a little more aggressive too. Wind yourself up a bit if you think you are softening and get some ‘grit’ going.
GEMINI (May 21st to June 21st) An unexpected little gift is on its way. Don’t forget to be suitably grateful even if it is about time the giver remembered! On the general side of life, you are in a funny frame of mind at the moment. Put it down to the effects of it to the weather, it gets us all in the end you know. What you need is a new hobby so look around and see what you fancy. Keep an eye on the family birthday list, there is an important date looming and you simply must not miss it.
CANCER (June 22nd to July 22nd) You have a small problem that is bothering you. Go and see about it without delay. There is probably nothing to worry about but the anticipation is doing you some harm. You have been neglecting all sorts of things lately, an elderly relative is beginning to think you no longer care. You have let things slide a little at your workplace. Be careful about this, no harm done but someone is after your job and they will use every bit of ammunition they can lay their hands on.
LEO (July 23rd to August 22nd) An uneventful fortnight on the whole. You can use the time to good advantage though. There are lots of things hanging about that need finishing, sorting out or just re-organising. There is a decision you should have made some time ago that you just cannot skirt any longer. Your social plans need finalisation too, so see to it. If you don’t you will find yourself arriving at the right place but at the wrong time.
VIRGO (August 23rd to September 22nd) You are in the market for a change of scene. Not for the first time you have the urge to uproot yourself and family and move on to pastures new. Take great care, be sure you’re not going from the frying pan into the fire. A change would be providential in some respects, however, it must be the right change. You have also to decide whether now is the right time or whether it would be better to exercise a little patience?
LIBRA (September 23rd to October 23rd) You have a really busy time ahead of you. Stacks of work, some activities associated with your hobby, and relatives to see to. Just do each thing as it comes up then suddenly, at the end of next week, you will find you have done everything and you will feel a certain amount of satisfaction about it too. There are no great problems ahead of you at the moment and all things being equal, you will have the energy to get around a busy schedule.
SCORPIO (October 24th to November 22nd) Next weekend will be a total disaster if you allow a repetition of the events of last weekend. Put your foot down. Say what you intend to do and stick to it no matter what they want. They will thank you in the long run. This is not to say it will be easy for you, you are an old softy at heart and apt to give in to those close to you. You have to take a stand sometimes however, and this is one of them.
SAGITTARIUS (November 23rd to December 21st) You feel on top of the world in some respects and down in the dumps in others. Don’t worry too much about any of it, it is all very much surface aggravation. Many of your problems stem from your desire to do everything yourself. You feel only you can do justice to the jobs in hand. Well you’re wrong, and the world will go on turning when you retire, so give a little. Let someone else take part of the load, because there is someone close quite willing to help.
CAPRICORN (December 22nd to January 20th) You are about to come very close to the end of your tether. This will have a disturbing effect on both you and your family. Try not to prolong a new acquaintance on this occasion, no lasting good will come of it for either of you. The time has not yet arrived for you to meet as permanent friends. Chances are of course you will suffer the disturbance without recognising the person concerned. Best thing all round, as this is only a passing phase and should soon be over.
AQUARIUS (January 21st to February 19th)
There will be a number of questions that need answers during the next couple of weeks. Try to be objective as well as truthful. Don’t forget, there are a number of absolute truths in every question, depending on your own particular point of view. Don’t be too dogmatic and try to see the other angle. One thing is certain, if you go off at the deep end over what you consider to be the only solution, you are going to end up looking remarkably silly.
PISCES (February 20th to March 20th) Convenience and expediency are what you should be looking at right now. Do nothing that involves too much reorganisation of your time. This is not a good time for you to be planning anything and it would be far better to cancel than to try to re-schedule. Your family on the other hand will be chopping and changing all over the place. Just ignore their carryings on. Sit back and let it all go on around you, there’s nothing to be gained by worrying on their behalf.

BOOK REVIEW
Notre Dame : by Linda Crowhurst Notre Dame is the story of a Renoir painting stolen from a
Jewish family by the Nazis in 1944. Just before the liberation of Paris, the painting is hidden in Notre Dame Cathedral by a young SS officer, Heiner, and a French collaborator, Favier. But Heiner is double-crossed and he sets off in pursuit of Favier and his girlfriend, Bird. The story moves between 1944 and 2004, when the painting comes up for auction and then disappears again. Now the hunt for the painting is joined by James Bartholomew, working for an organisation trying to return stolen art to Jewish families, and Favier’s son, Marcel, who, like Heiner, will stop at nothing to gain possession of the prize.
