Our Story Since 1991

BWM was founded in 1991 by local man Brian Moreton from Pontypridd and has since because one of South Wales leading independent family-run glazing companies, specialising in manufacturing and installing industry leading upvc and aluminium systems.

Finishing his career in the Navy, Brian moved back to South Wales with his Wife Wendy and young daughter Victoria. Brian set up a small fabrication unit in Seaton’s Place (Pontypridd) in 1991. Employing a small team of staff to manufacture upvc windows, doors and conservatories. BWM was one of the first double-glazing manufacturers in the Rhondda Valley.

With our growing reputation and a demand for quality windows, business was booming and so Brian worked tirelessly, delivering an unbeatable service to the local community. BWM very quickly became one of the most popular local double-glazing companies in South Wales, fabricating and installing hundreds of windows, doors and conservatories each year.

In 2005, the company had outgrown the small factory unit and moved to a large fabrication plant here at Treforest Industrial Estate where we continued to expand our excellent product ranges and staff year after year. As business grows and evolves, the ethos of BWM remained firmly in the heart of the local community.

Today, BWM employs over 40 local people and continues to manufacturer and install the finest quality PVC-U, aluminium and composite products on the market, delivering services to homeowners, the commercial sector and trade customers. Many of the original team from 1991 still work at BWM today, including our expert fabrication teams and fitters, however Brian Moreton has now retired but still enjoys his weekly visits. His legacy continues to thrive through the excellent services of BWM ltd.

From a small fabrication unit tucked away in a side street in Pwllgwain, BWMs history is testament to hard work, dedication and excellence service and reputation.
