Merthyr’s tastiest festival returns to the town centre on Saturday 21 July. With some 50 food stalls, foodie themed entertainment, chef demos, Capital FM street stars and children’s activities, there is plenty for all to enjoy. New for this year is the Merthyr Pop Up Vegan Fest featuring a range of local vegan food and gift/craft stalls. CoedLan – High Ropes at St Fagans


Experience an exciting new high ropes course perched in the beech trees at St Fagans National Museum of History. Climb, swing, balance and wobble your way through the trees, and see the sights of St Fagans from above, before zipping back down to earth. Tackle CoedLan’s 18 diff erent obstacles, including a balance beam, zig zag bridge, cargo net and a zip wire. No advance booking necessary – purchase your tickets on the day from


the Museum’s front desk. T e course costs £10 per person for one full circuit of the high ropes which includes a 50m zip wire to fi nish. Participants must be 110cm tall in order to take part. Children between 110cm and 130cm must be accompanied by an individual over 130cm. T e maximum weight
