confi rmed that Wales will be represented by a team from the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport led by executive head chef Michael Bates. The invitation to Belgium follows a fact-fi nding visit by a representative of the country’s national culinary team to the 2018 WICC to experience the Battle for the Dragon contest fi rst hand. The WICC are held at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, Rhos-on-Sea from February 26-28 and include the National and Junior Chef of Wales fi nals on the last day. Wales will be fi rst into the


EE annouces plans to launch 5G in Cardiff

It joins the UK’s other capital cities – London, Belfast and Edinburgh – as well as Birmingham and Manchester. EE is switching on 5G sites in 16 UK cities in 2019, including Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Sheffi eld, Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry and Bristol. EE is building 5G in the UK’s busiest places, where the power of 5G technology can really make a diff erence by providing a more reliable data connection even in the biggest crowds.
