125ft Classic Sailing Yacht MARIQUITA


MARIQUITA is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful classic yachts sailing today.


Designed and built by William Fife III she was launched in 1911 at Fairlie in Scotland. As a gaff rigged cutter of the 19 Metre Class MARIQUITA is a direct link to the historic Big Class and a precursor to the J-Class.


When launched MARIQUITA caught the imagina- tion of everyone that followed sailing just before the First World War and, over a hundred years later, she still does since being entirely restored by Fairlie Restorations in 2003. The same year she set sail once again and is now one of the stars of the Classic Circuit. Since she has sailed on the Clyde, Cowes, Falmouth, and count- less Mediterranean regattas including Monaco, Cannes and Saint-Tropez.


She represents a unique opportunity to enter into the exclusive classic sailing yachts circuit and enjoy the excitements of racing on such a legendary magnificent yacht.


110ft Maxi Catamaran “OCEAN PEARL” 2000. Refit/Conversion 2017. Ex Club Med winner of the Race in 2001 (around the world regatta) with world renown New Zealand skipper Grant Dalton. She had a fantastic track record and prize list before she underwent in 2016/2017 a complete refit (similar to that of her sister ship ex Swift), and conversion project into a fantastic maxi cruiser catamaran with light and comfortable accommodation for fast crossing and blue water cruising.


Ultim Maxi 80 “PRINCE DE BRETAGNE” 2012. VPLP design built by Multiplast, PRINCE DE BRETAGNE II is an Ultim Maxi 80 trimaran born from an extrapolation of the Orma 60 trimaran Sodebo. Lionel Lemonchois who is a former Route du Rhum winner, has skipped PRINCE DE BRETAGNE II since her launching in 2012. PRINCE DE BRETAGNE II is a 24 m long trimaran with the weight of a 18 m long trimaran. Therefore, she is much more seaworthy specially for single handed races.


MOD 70 “RACE FOR WATER” 2011. Multi One Design 70 by VPLP and built by Multiplast/CDK/Decision. Compared to the Orma 60, her main hull if 10 feet longer although her sail area is the same for better safety, her beams are raised for better passage in the waves, she is equipped with lifting main rudder, curved foils and a canting mast positioned further aft for better stability.


Orma 60 “AKRON AOTON” 1998. Originally launched as GROUPAMA 1 she won the Orma Cup in 2000, 2001, 2003 & 2004. She was then renamed HIQ later on and then won the Round Gotland Race in 2007. Since she was renamed AKRON AOTON her new owner has greatly improved her to make her easier to sail and to get into marinas: a more powerful main engine and a bow thruster have been added. AKRON AOTON is now suitable for day sailing.
