FIRST LAUNCH COMMENTS 2018
Lighter, with a smaller but more efficient sailplan than the previous Ker46 and also much better appendages. Big gains also from a much reduced structural and shell weight – and area – with a bit of a laugh waiting for the foredeck union up front
Powerful offshore racer designed for IRC. HPR40 offspring
The intriguing new pairing of Jason Ker and McConaghy Boats is already being rewarded with success – the second example of this 50-footer has recently been sold with interest building. Great looking and doubtless with healthy Jason Ker pace
A production foiler for the average Joe – we hope Joe is a little better than average, to be honest
Curved C-profile daggerboards and T-foil rudders to improve performance and reduce pitching in a seaway, plus lightweight carbon construction and a luxurious interior. Boat no1 is en route to the USA and the next three boats are now well underway
Fast, cool and lots and lots of yummy carbon but patchy sales
Boat no1 now sold. It’s surprising how much bigger the new MC60 looks than its 50ft sibling. But all these very modern-looking new Ker designs feature plentiful accommodation along with a sail area/displacement ratio to deliver sparkling pace
Proven IRC cruiser-racer. Hauled a fair bit of Caribbean silver in its heyday
The prototypes were carefully refined and all the boats now reflect that. 19 sold and counting Farr’s first dalliance with DSS is a very exciting prospect

Alibi Hudson Yacht and Marine Oct 2015 April 2016 A ‘cruising yacht’ that is faster than a TP52 – cool and pretty
An ‘alluring’ range of high-performance luxury cruising cats for an expanding sector – so good the builders have labelled them Supercats. The first eight… of these contemporary 66-footers have been sold with boat no5 getting a final polish
Lots of carbon, Kevlar and epoxy do indeed make for a ‘rapido’ ocean cruiser Rapido 60
Gunboat wasted no time commissioning this great-looking new design, signing up VPLP to deliver up-to-date solutions for their latest performance cat. So this one will be fast… but expect it also to be exceptionally stylish
Lots of wrapping paper needed – the first one-off custom Superyacht from Swan
Now we’re really cooking with gas as Ker and McConaghy introduce this 90ft globe-girdling powerhouse. All three of the new McConaghy cats look to deliver a nice combination of aesthetics, roomy interiors but still a promise of proper sailing
