Park World’s Matt Broughton sat down for a chat with James Rowell, Founder & CEO, JR Creative Group.
Matt: James, can you start by telling us a bit about your background in the industry and how you came to be heading JR Creative? James: I started out as a performer, which I think shapes how I approach stage in front of a live audience that teaches you very quickly what works and being a part of, but that the performers love being in just as much. The two things are connected, in my opinion. You can feel it in the room when a cast is genuinely enjoying the work, and the audience feels it too. That belief has stuck with me from day one. Over time I moved from performing into creatively directing and producing,
and in 2017 I started JR Creative Group. No investors, no safety net, just a belief that there was room for a company that genuinely cared about crafting
